‘One Life’ Star Wins ALMA Award

Kamar De Los Reyes has picked up an ALMA award for his role as Antonio Vega on ABC’s One Live To Live. He was nominated for Outstanding Performance in a Daytime Series alongside Maurice Bernard (Sonny, GH), David Fumero (Cristian, OLTL), Galen Gering (Luis, Passions) and Jessica Leccia (Natalia, GL). Past winners of this award inlude A Martinez (ex-Roy, GH; Cruz, Santa Barbara et. al) Mark Consuelos (Mateo, AMC), Eva La Rue (Maria, AMC) and Saundra Santiago (Carmen, GL).
De Los Reyes joined OLTL in 1995. He left in 1997 and made a brief return in 1998 before returning again in 2000. Along the way he has enjoyed several front burner storylines such as the Angel Square storyline, the “murder” of Carlo Hesser, the Santi saga and a romance with Jessica Buchanan (Bree Williamson). De Los Reyes is married to former OLTL actress Sherri Saum (ex-Keri) with whom he met on soap.
