Minshew joined All My Children in January of 2002 and been on the forefront of the Pine Valley canvas almost since she arrived. Kendall went through storylines including reconciling with her mother and her sister Bianca, the love triangle of Kendall/Ryan/Greenlee, building Fusion up from the ground up and being a surrogate for Greenlee which turned out to be Kendall’s child.

ABC executives are currently in talks with Minshew to renew her contract. While ABC does not comment on negotiations, insiders have said that salary may be a sticking point.
Last year Minshew was on more episodes that anyone else at Pine Valley. Working the hours that daytime actors do, Minshew may be holding out for more vacation time as well, especially now that the actress is engaged.

Minshew is the second actress to play Kendall. Daytime Emmy winner Sarah Michelle Gellar portrayed Kendall from 1993 to 1995. Minshew successfully made the role her own from the popular Gellar. Minshew has enjoyed her share of romantic interests, having bed hunks Aidan (Aiden Turner), Ryan (Cameron Mathison) and Ethan (James Scott) among others. For the past few years, Kendall has been paired with the broody Zach Slater (played by Thorsten Kaye). Fans have dubbed them “Zendall”.
