‘General Hospital’ Star Scott Clifton Lands ‘One Life to Live’ Role

0

In January, a new face will be arriving in Llanview. Former General Hospital star, Scott Clifton has accepted the role of Schuyler, a faculty member of Llanview High. The role of Schuyler was previously given to One Tree Hill actor Brett Claywell, but due to executives re-thinking the role, Claywell was replaced with Clifton. Brett Claywell will instead play a new character.

Best known for playing Dillon Quartermaine on ABC’s General Hospital, Scott joined GH in 2003 as Tracy Quartermaine’s eccentric son. Writers soon paired him with Georgie Jones (Lindze Letherman) and their friendship grew into romance. The two shared a two year relationship until it fell apart when Georgie found out about Dillon’s extra curricular activities with Lulu Spencer (Julie Marie Berman). Scott left the soap in 2007 and concentrated on his other passion, being a musician. Clifton earned three Daytime Emmy nominations for his work on GH.

Outside of Daytime, Scott has had guest appearances on Roswell, and a recurring role on Judging Amy. Scott’s film credits include Peace Virus, Arizona Summer and Death Strip. Scott’s musical talents led him to booking appearances at places such as the famous Whisky A Go-Go on the Sunset Strip in LA or the Gig in Hollywood. His most recent appearance was at the Tangier Restaurant in LA.

The newest member of the Llanview High faculty, Schuyler, will arrive in Llanview on January 9th.
