Oh Baby! Paul’s In Trouble

An angry Meg lashes out at Paul and tells him she loves Dusty. After she swears he’ll only have supervised visitation with Eliza, Paul freaks and uses Barbara as bait to get Meg and Eliza at the Lakeview. The lights go out while Barbara and Meg are talking and when they come back on, Dusty arrives just in time to witness that Eliza has been kidnapped. Elsewhere, Paul is revealed to have Eliza in tow and meets Josie, who’s just dropped off a goodbye letter at Dusty’s. Paul cons her into believing he has a gun so she’ll drive him out of Oakdale. Meanwhile, Barbara tries relentlessly to reach her son and when she finally does, Paul assures her that Eliza is fine. Josie finally contacts Dusty and she promises him the baby is fine and will be returned shortly, but Paul’s sudden appearance forces Josie to drop the call.

Later, Josie finds that Paul has taken her cell phone batter and immediately regrets not turning him in. Eventually, Paul and Josie hide out at a television studio with Eliza in tow and are mistakenly assumed to be actors. Back in Oakdale, Dusty and Lily spar over Meg and Dusty’s involvement with one another. Dusty feels guilt over getting Meg involved in his custody battle and agrees to stay away. After the call from Josie, Dusty tells Meg and they both hold on to hope that this nightmare will end soon….but they couldn’t be more wrong.

Oakdale Happenings

Henry and Vienna switch places with Brad and Katie, unbeknownst to the film crew. With the subject of babies looming over their heads, Vienna reveals that she would like to have a baby, but Henry isn’t fond of the idea. Frustrated, Vienna takes matters into her own hands. Katie and Brad fantasize about the parents they’ll be, but they soon discover it might not be as easy as it seems. Once Craig reveals that he gave Parker and Liberty money to go to a Chicago concert, Carly accompanies him in tracking them down. Soon, both Jack and Carly confront Craig about his lack of proper parenting skills. Luke uncovers Jade’s deception while Alison uses a recently returned Matt to make Casey jealous. After Casey sees Alison and Matt kissing, he runs into Jade and huffs that he and Alison are over. Jade approaches Emily and tells her that her job is finished. However, Emily is quick to inform Jade that she still has to make sure that Alison and Casey stay apart.
