Drake Hogestyn and Deidre Hall took their final bow as "Days of Our Lives" John Black and Marlena Evans on Friday, January 23. The super couple was a staple for NBC’s daytime drama and fans were shocked when it was announced the duo would be exiting their long time roles.

Deidre Hall has become a fan favorite in her 30 years on the soap, and her on screen pairing with Drake Hogestyn garnered them the coveted "super couple" status with many DAYS fans and soap opera fans in general. The pair has survived affairs, brainwashing, deaths, murder plots, divorce, and Stefano DiMera and yet through it all, the love they have for each other has stayed strong. Fans will not soon forget the couple that helped shape Days of Our Lives to what it is today. We will miss you Drake and Deidre and we will always remember what John and Marlena brought to daytime.
