2010 Daytime Emmy Award Nominations

Nominations for the 37th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards have been announced.

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) announced the nominees for the 37th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy® Awards during The Early Show on CBS.

During the telecast, actress Bree Williamson (Jessica Brennan, One Life to Live) and Travis Stork (The Doctors) announced seven of the major categories – those regarding the daytime soaps were: Outstanding Lead Actor, Outstanding Lead Actress, Daytime Drama Series and Lifetime Achievement Award, which this year will honor the legendary Agnes Nixon.

A complete list of nominees was made available after the telecast on the official website for the Daytime Emmy Awards. Pre-nominations were announced on Friday, February 26. DVD samples of the pre-nominees work was sent to voters on on March 26 for evaluation. All ballots were to be returned by Monday, April 26th.

The 37th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards will be air on the CBS Television Network on Sunday, June 27, 2010 from the Las Vegas Hilton in Las Vegas, NV.
