ABC Adapts Candace Bushnell’s ‘One Fifth Avenue’

0

ABC is developing a series based on Candace Bushnell’s 2008 novel One Fifth Avenue. Gossip Girl executive producer Josh Safran will write the project; Mark Gordon (Grey’s Anatomy) and Bushnell will produce.

The project (called One Fifth) is described as part Sex and the City, part The Goodwife. Columnist Cassie Bingham moves back to her apartment on One Fifth Avenue after separating from her husband. As with any good novel (or series), there’s a mystery attached. Bingham investigates a scandal in her building that ties back to the world from which she used to live in, bringing back faces from her past.
