Disney Star Cast in New ABC Family Pilot

Former Disney Channel star and Dancing with the Stars contestant Chelsea Kane has been cast in a new ABC Family pilot.

Kane will play Penny on the new multi-camera comedy Baby Daddy, from Dan Berendsen, the executive producer of The Nine Lives of Chloe King.

The series is set to begin filming this December in Los Angeles.

Kane competed on the season 12 of ABC’s Dancing With the Stars, placing third with partner Mark Ballas. The actress is best known for her multiple roles on Disney Channel series and films.
