'Blue Bloods' Delivers Highest Ratings Since Premiere!

CBS’ hit crime drama series, Blue Bloods, starring Tom Selleck and Donnie Wahlberg, delivered its highest audience ratings since its premiere episode, on September 24, 2010.

BLUE BLOODS was first in households (7.9/14), viewers (12.73m), adults 25-54 (3.2/09) and adults 18-49 (2.1/06). BLUE BLOODS matched series highs in adults 25-54 while delivering second best adults 18-49 rating (behind only the Sept. 24, 2010 series premiere by -0.1) and the second largest audience to date (also behind only its series premiere). Compared to the same night last year, BLUE BLOODS was up +33% in adults 25-54 and +17% in adults 18-49.  BLUE BLOODS was the night’s #1 program in best households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

With 12.73 million viewers, the CBS crime drama out delivered all weekly scripted programming on ABC, NBC, and Fox, with the exception of Modern Family.

For the night, CBS was first in households (6.6/11), viewers (10.37m), adults 25-54 (2.5/07) and adults 18-49 (1.6/05), out delivering NBC (4.42m) and ABC (5.04m) combined in viewers. CBS posted its best Friday delivery since Premiere Week Friday (Sept. 23, 2011) in viewers and matched the season’s second best adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 Friday ratings.
