Smash Shots: March 19th Episode – “The Workshop”

2

Photos offering a sneak peek at Smash’s upcoming March 19 episode, “The Workshop.”

Bernadette Peters guest stars as Leigh Conroy, Broadway star and mother of Ivy (Megan Hilty). Ivy is under pressure while her mother undermines her at every turn. Karen (Katharine McPhee) faces a big decision about her future. Julia (Debra Messing) and Michael’s (Will chase) affair has consequences. Former All My Children star Thorsten Kaye (ex-Zach) begins his recurring arc as Nick, a love interest for Anjelica Huston’s Eileen.

I’m psyched at the next development in Julia and Michael’s scandalous relationship. Based on the promo that aired at the end of the episode, Julia has some explaining to do. Who says adultery can’t be entertaining?

  1. Julia started out as a character I could like . . . now I just want to see her  BURN.  Thorsten Kaye on the other hand . . . he makes ME burn.  Love the MAHN!!

  2. I don’t find Julia and Michael entertaining at all. I don’t care enough about either character to be invested in this relationship = there was no character development and little buildup. Maybe if I cared about them before this happened, I would feel differently. Right now, it just seems we are being asked to root for two losers and sorry, not slightly interested. Now Thorsten Kaye, that’s another issue – can’t wait to see more of him.
