Alyssa Milano is returning to primetime next summer in a sexy, scandalous role on ABC!

The former Charmed star has joined the cast of ABC’s sudsy drama pilot, Mistresses, reports Deadline.

Mistresses, based on a series from the UK, revolves around four women — April (Rochelle Aytes), Katie (Yunjin Kim), Josslyn (Jess Macallan) and Savannah, beautiful women with scandalous love lives, caught in the storms of excitement and self-discovery, secrecy and betrayal, and find themselves at the mercy of the complex relationships they’ve created. K.J. Steinberg (co-creator of The Nine) wrote the pilot and will executive produce with Bob Sertner and Douglas Raue of Ecosse Films.

Milano will play Savannah, a married attorney who spends her nights racking up billable hours (among other things) with her attractive colleague.

ABC ordered the project directly to series in February for premiere in summer 2013.
