SyFy's 'Total Blackout' Premieres April 25

Are you afraid of the dark? Is being alone in darkness one of your fears? You are not alone, as millions of people across this country have a fear of being alone in the pitch dark, and the Syfy network is counting on. SYFY’s new extreme game show, Total Blackout, challenges contestants to face their fears, in complete darkness.

The Syfy series follows a half-hour game show format, where contestants battle each other and their fears in a series of challenges – in complete darkness. Contestants will faces unexpected surprises and endure unsettling nerve wracking games.

Total Blackout is hosted by former child star, Jaleel White. White is best known for playing Steve Urkel on the uber popular 90s sitcom Family Matters. The actor is currently a contestant on ABC’s reality competition series, Dancing With the Stars.

Total Blackout joins Syfy’s growing roster of popular reality series such as Face Off, Ghost Hunters, Face or Faked: Paranormal Files, Hollywood Treasure, Haunted Collector, Destination Truth, Ghost Hunters International, Paranormal Witness, Monster Man and Dream Machines, which will premiered Tuesday, April 10.
