James Scott and Alison Sweeney get my vote. They have incredible chemistry together and it just comes through in every scene they do. Ejami will one day be an amazing supercouple and will definitely increase the rantings for the show. I can’t wait to see how everything plays out for them. I hope the writers are aware of the potential that Ejami has. It would be a shame if they let it go to waste.

James Scott was definitely my “star of the week” as he took EJ through finding out about Lexie’s illness and facing his father’s betrayal, along with sparring with both Kate and Sami. I enjoyed seeing the old Sami Brady – she’s alive and well and ready to cause trouble and I can’t wait. And I can’t fail to acknowledge the best chemistry on soaps, so EJ and Sami get my couple vote!

It is not even Summer yet and Days of Our Lives is bringing the heat. The games are afoot. The stories more interesting and the pace is picking up. They are also bringing back Love in the Afternoon. EJOLE is just all kinds of hot! I love the way EJ loves Nicole, and how he is all about getting her back and tells anyone who will listen, it’s like she’s the center of his universe. I just really enjoyed the Ejami scenes last week.. They really are the diamond in the rough on Days!! James and Ali just keep bringing such great dynamics onscreen, that makes Ej and Sami so entertaining to watch. My favorite actually bona fide couple with 19 years of smoking hot chemistry will always be Sami and Lucas. So many years of what Days is all about, family, love, romance and children. I love this realistic, down to earth feisty couple. Lumi is full of fresh energy and I am enjoying them back on my screen again. I will always think that Lucas was made for Sami, and Sami for Lucas, they are a perfect fit together!

WilSon (Will & Sonny) brought me back to soaps, period. I’m enjoying the show as a whole (plus GH again along with the OLTL folk), but the pacing of the WilSon story is glacial. DAYS did a great job of depicting (slowly) the coming out process, but once one comes out, it does tend to move faster. However, the amount of on-air time given to Sonny (Freddie Smith) is pathetic. I love soaps for romance – and I really like the relationship between Nicole and Rafe (platonic so far) as well as the scenes with EJ and Sami – but I want to see ALL the characters having a shot at love, Will and Sonny included. I also say this as someone who started watching soaps when I was 5 (back in 1978), but stopped watching for almost 15 years.

He is able to convey so much meaning and emotion by just simple gestures and facial expressions. The way he selivers his lines amazes me each and every time. I feel so appreciative that James is so dedicated to his craft and that i am able to watch him grow as an actor :)

Seeing the recent scenes, proves beyond shadow of doubt that they have so many different facets and dynamics that make every scene completely different from each other but always having that special factor of natural believable chemistry that radiates and captivates the audience in a way that no other couple has the ability to do this on the same scale as James and Ali bring onscreen as Ejami!!

Amelia Heinle’s portrayal of Victoria Abbott as the good wife during the birth & aftermath of baby John has been right on. She truly loves and accepts this child as her very own. As her on screen husband, Billy, said of her when they were given the baby at the hospital ”You are amazing.” Amelia Heinle hasn’t missed a beat in this story that not many fans liked as a way of giving them a child. They have the baby now and are extremely happy. Y&R better not mess it up this time. Amelia Heinle & Billy Miller draw you in and make you love them.

I loved seeing Lulu and Dante Falconeri on my screen for more than a couple of minutes this past week and I’m excited to see them more in the upcoming weeks! I can’t wait to see how this case plays out as Lulu’s perceptive Spencer instincts have led her to a suspect no one else saw and how worried Dante will be when he can’t find her. Adventure and danger…hopefully leading to the romance Lante fans have been waiting for when they are reunited!!

Ejami have really brought out different dynamics in each of their scenes so far, it shows how versatile they are and the huge storyline capacity that could truly be the future of Days. I love them so much, they breath fresh air into Salem with their quirky witty dynamics. I love how they are not forced upon us, there is no stunts or frills the flirting is not right in our faces. However, the quality in their scenes gives a subtle balance of flirtation, humour and passion. I love how they can simply read each other with one look.

Acting is superb by the two best all time daytime Supercouples: John (Drake) & Marlena (Deidre) and Bo (Peter) & Hope (Kristian) going up against the evil Stefano. These two supercouples express so much love & devotion on screen to each other. Also very exciting when the four of them team up together.

I think Freddie Smith is a very talented young actor wasted a lot (especially recently) on Days of our Lives. His acting is amazing, even given the limited scenes he is in and he has very good chemistry with Chandler Massey.

Dante & Lulu. Really miss Dante, Lulu, and Lante separately and as a couple as dynamo screen presences. The new regime at GH has completely stalled momentum (maybe scrapped story lines?) for these characters and the couple. Positive it is one factor in the downward ratings slide when you can’t appreciate the huge fan base these characters and couple bring to the show. Need them front and centre in major storyline and also woven into existing ones. Downplay newbies, and yes that means OLTL characters shouldn’t be taking over the show and hogging airtime. For long time viewers they are NEW. Should have been woven in subtly and gently now they are overkill.

EJ and Sami were stomping ass and taking names last week, in both scenes together, and individually! I take great comfort in watching those two together – the bards, the insights into one another, the eye-sex, the rich, compelling backstories, and the incredible chemistry. Watching those two together just makes me feel like all is right with the soap world again.

Even though MAB’s Yuck and Ridiculous is boring me to sobs, I still love my LANE and Lily Ashby and Cane when they are onscreen. As for the Best Soap, Days gets my Vote, primarily because of Scott’s EJ DiMera!

Lots of great stuff on Days this week!

Loved the scenes with EJ and Sami. There’s such beautiful chemistry between James Scott and Alison Sweeney which makes Ejami such a compelling pair. I love that EJ and Sami know and understand each other so well and that they stand toe-to-toe when they disagree without backing down. Truly a relationship of equals.

The DiMeras are a powerhouse! I loved the various scenes with Kate, Stefano, and EJ – really powerful performances by Lauren Koslow, Joe Mascolo, and James Scott. The scenes between EJ and Lexie were beautiful and so heartbreaking – beautiful work by Renee Jones and James Scott. I think I’m going to need lots of tissues during Lexie’s illness.

All of these storylines are sure to provide lots of good, soapy drama as they unfold.
