This week The Young & the Restless put Nick & Phyllis fans through every gamut of emotions as Phyllis lost their much wanted baby by fans on Monday in a heartbreaking episode that proved why Michelle Stafford & Joshua Morrow are two of the best actors in daytime. You felt along with them the painful feeling of loss both characters were feeling as a day of celebration turned to sorrow.

To the writer’s credit, it was a good move to get fans happier again by having Nick propose to Phyllis that they still get married in a low key ceremony at the penthouse with just heir kids present. Officiated by Katherine, the vows Nick & Phyllis gave each other were breathtaking. Their promise of faithfulness was a nice nod to what broke them apart the last time & like Phyllis said, “I’m not going to say in joy & in sorrow because you’ve shown me that after the sorrow there is so much joy.” That line right there sums up what YR gave Phick fans this week with the loss of the baby then the wedding. Kudos to Joshua Morrow & Michelle Stafford for taking us on a range of every emotion in the book this week. I look forward to seeing what is next for Phick. – Anna

I considered myself a general viewer type soap fan until EJ Dimera showed up in Salem and swept Sami off her feet. I had always identified with Sami, I enjoyed her brazen attitude and rooted for her to find the love she so longed for. Someone who saw the real woman behind the tough exterior. When Ali and James are onscreen together you can’t help but notice them. Everyone else fades into the background. Let’s face it, Soaps are a dying breed and need all the publicity they can get. EJami keeps people talking. Whether you love or hate them, you have an emotional reaction, and isn’t that what Soaps are all about? Drama, passion, romance, lies, schemes, betrayals, and above all entertainment. I can’t speak for everyone, but I can say that EJ and Sami make my ‘Days! – Strail

Love Ejole, Loved that Nicole came to Stefano’s viewing and knew how much the father-son duo loved one another and how much EJ must be suffering. Knew she couldn’t stay away. Felt awful for EJ and Nicole when she couldn’t give him a hug, especially when he quickly he walked away from her, But am glad that she admitted that EJ is her baby’s father and that she is happy that the child is a Dimera. – Liz

GH is getting so much better these days. I am loving all the Jason/Elizabeth scenes and nods to their history. – TxKimmie
