Neve Campbell joins Grey’s Anatomy in a multi-episode arc as Derek’s sister.

Film goers know Neve Campbell best as the queen of Scream and a member of the Salinger family on Party of Five. Now she’s joining Derek Shepherd’s family after being cast as another one of sisters. Viewers have previously met Nancy (Embeth Davitz) and Amelia (Caterina Scorsone). So, which Shepherd is Campbell playing? We’re not exactly sure yet, but by process of elimination we’re left with Kathleen, the psychiatrist or the fourth unnamed sister. This isn’t the first time Campbell has worked opposite Dempsey. The two were played opposite one another in Scream 3.

The casting was first reported by TVLine, who confirmed Campbell will be doing at least two episodes of the hospital drama. She’ll be coming to Seattle as Derek struggles with the harsh reality that he may never operate again. A job demotion forces Derek to take on a teaching role at the hospital, a harsh blow for the brilliant neurosurgeon.

Campbell can currently be seen on television in Encore’s 12-hour miniseries, Titanic: Blood and Steel.
