Soap hunk Adam Gregory is returning to his old stomping grounds on The CW! The actor will reprise his role as bad boy Ty Collins on 90210 later this season.

TV Guide reports Gregory will be back for a “what if” episode airing in December or January. The episode will tell the audience would have happened to Ty had Annie (Shenae Grimes) never moved to Beverly Hills.

Ty was a recurring character during season one of The CW’s reboot. Attractive, athletic, popular and wealthy, Ty was a thespian who was the apple of all the girls’ eyes at West Beverly High School. Ty wooed Annie away from love interest Ethan (Dustin Milligan), only to have their relationship implode thanks to Adrianna’s (Jessica Lowndes) vindictive scheme.  Adrianna soon learned she was pregnant after a one-night stand with Ty. Though initially supportive, Ty’s family convinced him that giving up the child and never speaking of it was best for his reputation and future. After she gave birth, Ty consented to the adoption and was never heard from again (until now that is).

In 2010, Gregory was cast as Thomas Forrester on CBS’ Emmy award winning daytime drama The Bold and the Beautiful, taking over the role from Emmy winner Drew Tyler Bell.
