DC Comics' Firefly coming to 'Arrow'

0

Get ready, “Arrow” fans. Another DC Comics’ villain is heading to Starling City to take on Oliver’s alter ego. Andrew Dunbar has been tapped to guest star as Firefly on the CW’s hit series.

Entertainment Weekly reported the news earlier today that on “Arrow,” a firefighter named Garfield Lynns is horribly burned on the job and hasn’t recovered physically or emotionally, which prompts him to transform into the villain Firefly. He’s scheduled to show up in episode 10.

Comic fans know that Firefly has been best known as part of the Batman universe and like other characters on “Arrow,” he will be without any unrealistic (for a human) abilities.

Dunbar’s past credits include “Tower Prep,” “SGU Stargate Universe” and “Battlestar Galactica: Razor.”
