‘Emily Owens, M.D.’ Photo Preview: ‘Emily and the Question of Faith’

Last week, Emily dealt with her guilt complex and this week, the good doctor is facing questions of religion on “Emily Owens, M.D.” Unfortunately for Emily, she’s also facing the wrath of Dr. Bandari once again.

In “Emily and the Question of Faith,” a patient finds himself questioning everything he’s ever believed in after a near-death experience on the operating table. But will Emily be able to help him find his way again?

From The CW: “KEEPING THE FAITH — Emily (Mamie Gummer) and Tyra’s (Kelly McCreary) infant patient seems perfectly normal until they discover she has a condition that forces her parents to make a difficult decision about her future.   Emily’s is assigned to Dr. Bandari’s (Necar Zadegan) deeply religious patient who finds his faith shaken after a risky surgery.  Will (Justin Hartley) becomes impatient waiting for his patient’s lab work and takes a chance on a possible diagnosis, breaking protocol and upsetting Micah (Michael Rady).  Meanwhile, Tyra is finally ready to tell her father the truth about being a lesbian and seeks out Emily for support, but before she can reveal her secret, she gets shocking news of her own. Aja Naomi King also stars. Jamie Babbit directed the episode written by Paul Sciarrotta.”

“Emily Owens, M.D.” airs Tuesday, Nov. 27 at 9:00 p.m. EST on The CW.
