It’s a huge day for Prospect Park and One Life to Live according to a report from Showbiz 411. Roger Friedman reports Prospect Park has secured the returns of the soaps’ leading stars!

Both Robert S. Woods who played police commissioner Bo Buchanan since 1979, as well as Erika Slezak who played the great Viki Lord (and her many alters) since 1971, have both agreed to return to the soap with production, according to Woods, planning to begin in mid-February.

While this news has yet to be officially been confirmed by Prospect Park, it is terrific to have both Daytime Award winning actors reprise their roles as the linchpin’s of what made One Life to Live and the town of Llanview so recognizable for over forty years. I, for one, cannot wait to see what new head writers, Thom Racina and Susan Bedsow Horgan have in store for these iconic characters in the days ahead.
