After months of rumors and speculation, TV Guide Magazine is reporting that Jack Wagner will reprise his role as super spy Frisco Jones on ABC’s General Hospital.

According to their report, Wagner already signed the deal and has been secretly filming scenes. It’s unknown when his first episode will air.

Wagner originated the role of Frisco Jones in 1983. It was there he would rise to immense popularity when his character was paired with Felica Cummings (Kristina Wagner). The actor would come and go over the years, departing in 1988 only to return a year later. In ’91, he jumped ship to NBC’s Santa Barbara. Wagner returned to GH in 94′, only to depart the show again in ’95.

After stints on Sunset Beach and primetime soap operas Melrose Place and Titans, Wagner returned to daytime in 2003, joining CBS’ The Bold and the Beautiful as Nick Marone. He departed the series in 2012 after he was taken off contract.

Many things of changed in Port Charles since Frisco last appeared. How will Frisco’s return impact Felicia’s budding romance with Mac? How will Maxie deal with the return of her absentee father? I’m hoping for another epic, scathing Maxie tirade like the one she inflicted on Felicia in 2007.
