‘Being Human’s’ Mark Pellegrino Cast In CW’s ‘The Tomorrow People’

The Tomorrow People have found its main antagonist. Being Human star Mark Pellegrino has been cast in the pilot for The CW’s sci-fi drama.

The Lost alum will play Dr. Jedikiah Price, an evolutionary biologist committed to containing the threat posed by the “Tomorrow People,” a group of super powered young adults who come into their powers in the next phase of evolution. Price believes the youngsters pose a major threat to the human race.

Pellegrino recurs on Syfy’s Being Human as vampire mentor Jeremy. He also appears on the CW’s Supernatural. He joins the previously cast Robbie Amell, Luke Mitchell and Peyton List.

Based on the Roger Price series, The Tomorrow People tells the story of various young people around the world who represent the next stage in human evolution and possess special powers, including the ability to teleport and communicate with one another telepathically. Together, they work to defeat the forces of evil. Greg Berlanti (ArrowPolitical Animals) and Julie Plec (The Vampire Diaries) executive produce the series. Phil Klemmer (Political Animals) will pen and executive produce the pilot, directed by Danny Cannon.
