Justin Hartley books guest spot on ‘Melissa & Joey’

0

There is some good news today for those of us that have missed seeing Justin Hartley on our TV screens. The former Emily Owens, M.D. star has just booked a guest spot on ABC Family’s Melissa & Joey.

Zap2it broke the news exclusively on Thursday that Hartley had signed on to play a love interest for Melissa Joan Hart’s character. According to Zap2it, his character, Noah, “is forced to move in with Mel too early in the relationship when his apartment floods. Things are complicated because Joe (Joey Lawrence) is always around.”

This will be Hartley’s first TV appearance since Emily Owens, M.D. was tragically canceled much too early by The CW and ended its run in February. In addition to Emily Owens, Hartley appeared as Oliver Queen/Green Arrow in Smallville, Fox Crane on Passions and has had guest appearances on Castle and Hart of Dixie.

Melissa & Joey begins its third season on May 29. There’s no official airdate for Hartley’s appearance at this time, but we’ll let you know as soon as we have it.

Updated 5/31: Hartley will first appear in episode 11, which airs Wednesday, Aug. 7. Check out the actor previewing his appearance below.
