‘Suits’ Season 3 Preview: Whose Side Are You On?

Suits kicks off its third season tonight on USA Network and the stakes are higher than ever. The second season finale broke the hearts of Harvey and Mike fans everywhere when Jessica forced Mike’s hand and basically annihilated their bromance. But that was only one of the many bombs that were dropped.

Jessica infuriated Harvey when she refused to make him a named partner and then made a deal with Edward Darby to merge their firms. Louis stabbed his British counterpart in the back and Mike blurted out the truth to Rachel: he’s not a lawyer. She was mad, but then she got over it and the two got up close and personal in the file room.

So what happens now? Will Harvey forgive Mike? Will Harvey forgive Jessica? Can Rachel really accept that Mike’s whole life is a lie? What will the firm look like after the British invasion? We’ve seen the premiere, “The Arrangement”, and we can tell you that it is everything and more that Suits fans have been waiting for. While we’re not going to ruin anything by being too spoiler-y, we can tease some fantastic moments to look out for.

-Harvey is not going to forgive and forget. Loyalty is everything to Mr. Specter and two of the people he was closest to betrayed him. He doesn’t take it well.

-Mike is a ball of anxiety. He’s determined to get Harvey back and he’s worried that Rachel is going to turn him in for being an imposter, but that’s not his biggest concern when it comes to his lady love.

-Rachel begins the episode wanting space from Mike and the situation to process everything. She decides what she wants, but is it more than Mike is willing to give?

-Donna remains flawless (not that anyone suspected otherwise). She’s the only person Harvey still trusts and she and Louis provide one of the funniest scenes ever to lighten the episode up a bit.

-Speaking of Louis, his past actions come back to bite him when British Louis decides to get revenge.

-Harvey makes his choice as to whether he wants Scottie to work in the London office or the New York office.

-We get to meet Ava (Game of Thrones Michelle Fairley), whose case will be one of the major storylines this season.

-Finally, the title of the episode: Two characters make a deal that can and will change everything.

Suits airs tonight at 10/9c on USA Network.
