A new villain is headed to Starling City to tangle with Oliver (Stephen Amell) on Arrow. The CW drama has tapped Homeland’s Navid Negahban for a guest stint in season two.

Negahban will show up in the fifth episode of the season as Al-Owal, who is described as meticulous, driven and deadly, according to E! Online. A-Owal arrives in town gunning for someone very close to Oliver.

Al-Owal also has ties to the League of Assassins (which is the rumored episode title). The group (that Batman fans will recognize as being headed by Ra’s Al Ghul) also counted Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) as a member before his (possible?) death in the season one finale.

In addition to his Homeland role, Negahban’s other TV credits include appearances on CSI: NY, Covert Affairs, NCIS: Los Angeles and 24.

Arrow returns Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 8/7c on The CW.
