Wade (Wilson Bethel) and George (Scott Porter) had better watch out. A new man is coming to Bluebell to charm the ladies. Chuck alum Ryan McPartlin has landed a guest spot on an upcoming episode of Hart of Dixie.
McPartlin will play Carter Covington, who is described as “a handsome, chivalrous and extremely charming Southern gentleman, who is one of the most eligible bachelors in the South and every Southern Belle’s dream husband,” according to TV Guide, which first reported the casting news.
There’s no word on which of the Bluebell ladies, if any, fall under Carter’s spell, but it certainly sounds to us like he’d be someone who might catch Lemon’s (Jaime King) eye. Could he be the one to sweep the unlucky in love Belle off her feet?
In addition to Chuck, McPartlin has appeared in Daybreak, Necessary Roughness, Rizzoli & Isles, CSI: Miami and Hot in Cleveland.
Hart of Dixie returns Monday, Oct. 7 at 8/7c on The CW.
