‘Arrow’ 2×02 ‘Identity’ Preview: Can Oliver and Roy save Glades Memorial Hospital?

Oliver (Stephen Amell) had better watch his back – the villains are coming out to play once again.

Arrow doesn’t return for its second season until Oct. 9, but The CW has already released some details about what’s coming up in episode two, “Identity.”

We know that the season premiere picks up several months after the devastating events of the finale (we miss you, Tommy!) and Starling City is a mess. Putting the Glades back together is a priority, but it’s not going to be easy.

The hospital in the Glades is in trouble and Roy (Colton Haynes) is determined to stop the thieves who are stealing the medicine and supplies before the hospital is forced to shut down. Unfortunately, Officer Lance (Paul Blackthorne) arrests him.

Who is stealing the supplies? A crew led by China White (Kelly Hu). Oliver battles with her again and this time she’s got a new partner: Ben Turner (Michael Jai White), also known to DC Comics’ fans as Bronze Tiger. We’re guessing they’re not going to give up their hold on the Glades without a fight.

But Oliver and Roy have some relationship problems on their hands in addition to the influx of bad guys roaming the streets. Laurel (Katie Cassidy) schemes to catch the Arrow and Thea (Willa Holland) gives Roy an ultimatum.

Arrow returns Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 8/7c on The CW. “Identity” airs Oct. 16.
