Is Zoe (Rachel Bilson) ready to say goodbye to Bluebell forever after her summer in New York City?

Today The CW released the official guide for Hart of Dixie’s third season premiere and that certainly seems like a possibility based on the synopsis (Okay, okay, we know how TV works and Zoe isn’t going anywhere, but let’s pretend we’re panicking for a minute).

Who Says You Can’t Go Home?” kicks off five months after the events of the finale and Zoe has decided again that her heart is in NYC. But before she can say goodbye to Alabama once and for all, she needs Brick’s (Tim Matheson) help. Of course he needs something from her first.

Check out the full description from The CW below as well as the episode stills and then hit the comments and tell us if you’re excited for season three!

“MAKING AMENDS — After spending the summer in New York City, Zoe (Rachel Bilson) is ready to make her move more permanent, but first she must return to BlueBell for one last thing.

Upon her return, Zoe discovers that no one in town is very happy to see her, except for Lavon (Cress Williams). Desperate for Brick (Tim Matheson) to give her a good reference, she agrees to help him track down George (Scott Porter) and get him to resurrect the Founders Day parade that has been canceled.

Needing to find George quickly, Zoe enlists Lemon’s (Jaime King) help, but accidentally discovers Lemon is hiding a dirty little secret. Meanwhile, Lemon also devises a plan to help Wade (Wilson Bethel) save face in front of Zoe.

Kaitlyn Black also stars.  Josh Cooke (“Dexter”) guest stars.  Bethany Rooney directed the episode written by Leila Gerstein.”

Hart of Dixie returns Monday, Oct. 7 at 8/7c on The CW.
