MTV chose New York Comic-Con to announce big news regarding Teen Wolf’s future. The network has renewed the supernatural drama for a 12-episode fourth season in 2014. In addition, the network will debut a companion series Wolf Watch that’ll follow the episodes.

Teen Wolf’s renewal comes as no surprise considering the series is coming off its most successful season to date. The first half of season three averaged 2.8 million viewers each week and a 2.5 rating in its targeted 12-34 demographic; ranking as the #1 program in its timeslot.

The highly anticipated second half of Teen Wolf’s third season begins Monday, January 6, 2014 at 10PM/EST. Wolf Watch will premiere immediately after.

Wolf Watch will be hosted by Jill Wagner, who plays “Kate Argent” in Teen Wolf. The half-hour talk show will give fans even more insight into the hit series, covering topics ranging from the heavy mythology elements featured in the season, to the steamy romances and hilarious bromances that run rampant between the series’ Supernatural high-schoolers.

The series will welcome guest appearances by Teen Wolf cast members sharing behind-the-scenes secrets and celebrity super fans will also drop in to get some of the answers viewers crave from week to week.

Season three episodes of Teen Wolf are available for viewing at MTV.com, iTunes and Hulu. Past series are available on Netflix. Part one of Teen Wolf’s third season will be available on DVD on December 10.
