‘Reign’ Preview: Is there anyone Mary can trust?

After the events in the series premiere, Reign’s Queen Mary finds herself vulnerable at French Court and wondering if there is anyone who has her best interests at heart or if she’s just a pawn.

“Snakes in the Garden” bring Simon (Luke Roberts), an English envoy to the castle and he tells Mary that the English realize that her engagement to Francis is already on shaky ground. This leads to the two royal teenagers being forced to put on a show to prove their alliance.

Meanwhile, despite her plans failing, Queen Catherine is more determined than ever to destroy Mary and stop her from marrying Francis. But someone has caught on to the plan. Will Catherine make someone else pay with his or her life?
