‘As the World Turns’ Alum Mark Collier Joins ‘Days of our Lives’

Former As the World Turns hunk Mark Collier (ex-Mike) has reportedly joined the cast of NBC’s Days of our Lives. Soap In Depth broke news of the actor’s hiring early this morning.

For five years, Mark Collier steamed up screens as Oakdale’s sexy Mike Kasnoff. Hopefully, the 43-year old actor will be doing the same thing in Salem. The actor has already begun filming and will make his on-screen debut sometime in December. He’s expected to be involved in a storyline with Shawn Christian (Daniel), who coincidentally originated the role of As the World Turns’ Mike Kasnoff in 1994; the very role Collier assumed when he joined the soap in 2002.

WeLoveSoaps.net reports the Mark Collier will be playing Liam and will first appear December 19.
