We’ve still got another week to go before a new episode of Arrow introduces us to Barry Allen/The Flash, but thanks to a release from The CW, we can already start talking/speculating about the season two midseason finale that will air in two weeks on Dec. 11.

Oliver is drugged in “Three Ghosts” and finds himself visited by ghosts from his past. We’re assuming the island flashbacks might play into this and perhaps his father will show up too? Also, is it too much to hope that Tommy might return for this episode? The producers did point out that they use a lot of flashbacks so it wasn’t out of the question that we might see him again.

As for Barry, this will be his second episode and his connection to Felicity will grow stronger. We’re definitely intrigued and looking forward to seeing this character in action. Check out the full description provided by the network and then hit the comments and share your thoughts with us. Are you looking forward to the episode?

“OLIVER IS VISITED BY GHOSTS FROM THE PAST — After a fight with Cyrus Gold AKA the Acolyte (guest star Graham Shiels), Oliver (Stephen Amell) is drugged and left for dead.  Determined to cure him, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) makes a risky decision. The cure causes Oliver to hallucinate, and what he sees forces him to confront his past.  Meanwhile, Barry (guest star Grant Gustin) continues to help Felicity, and their connection grows stronger. The Arrow asks Lance (Paul Blackthorne) to look into Gold, but when the stakeout on Gold goes bad, someone is killed. Roy (Colton Haynes) is captured and tortured by Brother Blood (guest star Kevin Alejandro). John Behring directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Andrew Kresiberg and teleplay by Geoff Johns & Ben Sokolowski.”

Arrow returns Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 8/7c on The CW. “Three Ghosts” will air Dec. 11.

  1. Hi Arrow fans,
Big green arrow fan here and his side kick big green arrow fan jr.. I am really looking forward to two part mid finale of Arrow. The flash episode are the episodes that we have been waiting to see ever since we heard that the flash is coming to Arrow. I cant wait to see how this is going to play out and I cant wait to see how the sparks fly between Felicity and Barry. Although if Barry Allen is not staying on the show; what is the point of sparks flying between them? I guess it just to make Oliver jealous. Although I have my reservations for that as well because if they are not going to put Oliver with Felicity what is the point of making him jealous? Even if they put Oliver and Felicity together temporarily what will be the point? All that would do is get Felicity hopes up. Lastly but certainly not least I know that their are a lot of Olicity fans out their and call me old fashion but I am a firm believer that you can mess with the details of the story but the core must stay the same otherwise it cant be called Arrow or Green Arrow. In the story of Green Arrow their was no romantic relationship between Oliver and Oracle. Does this means that Felicity is going to the flash tv show? Ha, Ha Wink, Wink…..
