E! News is reporting that The Secret Circle star Shelley Hennig is set to appear on the upcoming season of MTV’s Teen Wolf. Will her character be tied to the new “Kitsune” mythology arc?
Executive producer Jeff Davis previously teased that season 3B will introduce a new arc. “It is a very, very fascinating Japanese shape shifter myth about the werefox and the trickster spirit.”
The actress made her acting debut on the NBC soap opera, Days of our Lives as Stephanie Johnson-Kiriakis. After departing the series in 2011, the former Miss Teen USA was cast in The CW’s wiccan teen drama , The Secret Circle. Though the series performed better than some of the network’s offerings (most notably Gossip Girl), the network opted to cancel the series after one season. Post-Secret Circle, Hennig landed a roles on MTV’s Zach Stone is Gonna Be Famous and Justified.
Teen Wolf returns for the second half of its third season, January 6 on MTV.
