‘Once Upon a Time’ Photo Preview: ‘Dark Hollow’ brings Ariel to Storybrooke

On the last episode of Once Upon a Time, Regina and Rumple gave Ariel a mission. They wanted the little mermaid to go to Storybrooke and recover something from Rumple’s shop that would help them take down Pan. It sounds easy enough, but we know better than to believe it will turn out that simply.

Even though we’ve seen a little of Belle this season, or a version of her, we’re excited that “Dark Hollow” will bring some of the action back to Storybrooke after six episodes taking place solely in Neverland or Enchanted Forest flashbacks. Ariel meets Belle at Rumple’s shop to look for the artifact. We imagine the mermaid will feel like a kid in a candy store surrounded by so many human trinkets.

But there’s a much bigger problem the ladies will be facing. Two men have arrived in Storybrooke, determined to stop Ariel from getting what she needs. Judging by the photo, it looks like they succeed. Hopefully more Storybrooke residents will be coming to their rescue.

In Neverland, the group reunites with Tinker Bell and then Emma, Hook and Neal set out to find the Dark Hollow, which is where Pan’s shadow resides, in the hopes of capturing it. That seems like it’ll be quite the awkward journey. Meanwhile, Snow is still unhappy that Charming kept quiet about being poisoned.
