Now that it’s confirmed American Horror Story will return for a fourth season, everyone can speculate who will and won’t return for the next installment of the FX anthology series. Will new additions Kathy Bates and Angela Bassett, who joined this season as Madame LaLaurie and Marie Laveaux, respectively, return for the fourth season?

Though no deals has been finalized, series co-creator Ryan Murphy expressed to Entertainment Weekly that he would welcome the actresses returning for season 4. The showrunner exclusively told EW: “I have approached them and they wanna do it. That’s very exciting when you can work with A.) actresses you’ve always idolized and B.) those two are loving this season.”

Our POV: They aren’t the only ones loving this season. I passed on previous iterations, there were two things that lured me to watch American Horror Story: Coven — 1) a season about witches and 2) the casting of Katy Bates and Angela Bassett. If you aren’t watching AHS: Coven, you need to find a way to catch up now.
