Why should you watch last Tuesday’s episode of General Hospital? We’ve got three points compromised as 10 Gifs explaining why. Here’s a hint — it’s the reunion we’ve all been waiting for!

After two long years and many false leads, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) finally reunited with their daughter Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCullough)! It was everything we could have imagined. Stares from across the room, heartfelt tears of joy, FLASHBACKS and at long-last a long embrace.

Enjoy reasons 1-10 below:

If you aren’t moved by the 10 GIFS above then I have to ask if there’s a black hole where your heart used to be!

Unlike any other genre, soap operas benefit the most from the continuing drama and the wealth of history attached to it. Such was the case on the November 26 episode, when the series utilized a flashback the 1985 Asian Quarter storyline in which Robin was kidnapped, to reiterate the significance of their reunion now. What made it even better is the emotional attachment to the characters and actors, who have continued to play Anna and Robin off and on for the last 27 years.

If you missed the reunion (or want to watch it again), check it out below. It’s well worth it,

  1. I have loved Tristan Rogers, Finola Hughes, and Kimberly McCullough since the beginning of their “family storyline,” back in the mid-1980’s. Nothing was more appropriate for Thanksgiving Week than to reunite these three actors who have meant so much to GH viewers, for so long. GH told their story “just right.” Those reunions were perfection, and I never tire of seeing the scene, from 1985.

  2. General Hospital is so good now…..its amazing!I love it!

  3. Have watched General Hospital from the very beginning and One Life to Live and All My Children. Prospect Park ended One Life to Live and All my children. That was horrible. Now the writers of General Hospital have brought back Robin and decide to ruin Sabrina’s wedding day for her come back.. So unbelievably heartless. Very disappointed. That was a big mistake. They can write all they want now. No longer interested in watching General Hospital anymore and neither are my friends and family.
