ABC’s scandalous summer sudser, Mistresses, has added three former soap opera stars to the cast for its second season. General Hospital alums Rebeka Montoya, Jason Gerhardt; Days of our Lives alum Krista Allen will shake things up when the series returns this summer.

Jason Gerhardt, who won General Hospital fans over in 2007-2008 with his charming portrayal of former military man-turned-terrorist-turned-cop, Cooper “Coop” Barrett, is joining as a potential love interest for Alyssa Milano’s Sav. He’ll play Zack, a lost soul who arrives at her home and forms a unique connection with Sav.

Gerhardt’s recent credits include guest appearances on Melissa and Joey, Perception, Vegas, Bones and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

Rebeka Montoya (ex-Delores Padilla, GH) will recur as Toni, a Latina lawyer whose ambition is matched by her beauty, reports THR. Toni is expected to be a thorn in the side of a few main characters. Montoya joined GH in 2011 but exited the show less than a year later.

And last but certainly not least, Krista Allen (ex-Billie, DAYS) will guest star as Janine Winterbaum, reports TVLine. She’s described as a demanding diva of the “Real Housewife” type. Janine hires Harry (Brett Tucker) and Joss (Jes Macallan) to cater an elaborate party. Quick to throw her money around, she makes some extra demands of Harry that may test his limits. Allen recently guest-starred in The CW’s The L.A. Complex and ABC Family’s Melissa and Joey.

Mistresses, based on a series from the UK, revolves around four friends — Savannah (Alyssa Milano), April (Rochelle Aytes), Katie (Yunjin Kim) and Josslyn (Jes Macallan)  beautiful women with scandalous love lives, caught in the storms of excitement and self-discovery, secrecy and betrayal, and find themselves at the mercy of the complex relationships they’ve created.

Production begins later this month. Mistresses will return this June.
