‘General Hospital,’ CBS Lead Daytime Emmy Nominations

GENERAL HOSPITAL - The past and future will collide in honor of "General Hospital's" 52nd anniversary on Wednesday, April 1, 2015. Select scenes from the very first "GH" episode that aired on April 1, 1963 will be revisited, and the story will be expanded in order to answer questions raised that day. Original characters Dr. Steve Hardy will be played by Jason Thompson (Dr. Patrick Drake), Nurse Jesse Brewer will be played by Rebecca Herbst (Elizabeth Webber) and Dr. Phil Brewer will be played by Ryan Carnes (Lucas Jones).
