Who Will Win – Kristoff St. John

Kristoff St. John + Shemar Moore + Flashbacks + Family Drama = Daytime Emmy Win

The Emmy’s is a game of chess. St. John made just the right moves to ensure a win. He submitted in for Supporting Actor instead of Leading Actor. Which seems an odd choice. His storylines may have been supporting ever since they threw his best screen partner off a cliff eight years ago but he still feels like more of a Leading Actor.

St. John brought in the nostalgia. The clip he submitted was the first day of Malcolm’s return and full of enough flashbacks to pull at your heart. But we feel that  he submitted the wrong day. There are a lot of flashbacks in his reel which may make some feel nostalgic but we thought it took away from the story. The episode right after this one was much better. It showcased Neil now and not Neil 15 years ago.

The 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards will be televised live on Pop (formerly TVGN/TV Guide Network) at 8:00 p.m. EDT/5:00 p.m. PDT.
