‘General Hospital’ Casts Young Hunk and New Nurse

General Hospital is adding to new faces to its (already large) cast. Teen Beach alum John DeLuca and Risa Dorken will make their debuts in the coming weeks.

As reported by TVLine, John Deluca will play the role of Aaron, a young man who crosses paths with the Corinthos family. He’s expected to air Tuesday, April 26. His role is recurring. DeLuca’s credits include Twisted and The Secret Life of the American Teenager.

Soap Opera Digest is reporting Risa Dorken will play a much needed new nurse named Amy, described as a “spunky new nurse who just can’t help herself from gossiping and putting her nose in other’s business.” Sounds a lot like a re-incarnation of Amy Vining (played by the late Shell Kepler). Dorken’s credits include Boardwalk Empire and The Carrie Diaries.

Amy is the fourth hospital staffer to be created under head writers Jean Passanante and Shelly Altman, whose episodes began airing in mid-October 2015.
