‘Walking Dead’ Alum Chad L. Coleman Cast as ‘Arrow’ Villain

Arrow has cast a new recurring villain for the superhero drama’s fifth season. The Walking Dead and The Wire alum Chad L. Coleman has been cast as Tobias Church, an original character created for the new season.

As reported by IGN, Tobias is described as “an imposing gangster looking to unite the various criminal enterprises in Star City under his own singular command” and will make his debut in the season premiere.

Coleman is the latest in a string of new additions for the fifth season. Madison McLaughlin returns as Evelyn Sharp, who will don the identity of Artemis; Rick Gonzalez (Mr. Robot) has been cast as Wild Dog, a new vigilante with a reckless and cocky attitude who’s taken under Arrow’s wing.

On Wednesday, October 5, Arrow returns for its fifth season premiere and serves as the lead-in in for the debut of the intense new thriller Frequency.
