Soap veteran and former One Life to Live star Hillary B. Smith will reprise her OLTL character, attorney Nora Buchanan, on ABC’s General Hospital in the coming weeks.

GH executive producer Frank Valentini made the announcement in a special video filmed on set.

No information is available at press time regarding the storyline she’ll be involved in or the length of her stay.

Hillary B. Smith, an alum of As the World Turns, originated the role of Nora Hanen Gannon Buchanan Colson Buchanan Buchanan in 1992. She would remain with the soap until its cancelation in 2012, and later joined the short-lived online revival. Smith won a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress for her work on the soap.

She also appeared in a handful of episodes on The Bold and the Beautiful, and is one of the stars of Venice: The Series, created by Crystal Chappell.

Smith is the first former OLTL or All My Children cast member to reprise their previous character since ABC regained the rights to the soaps at the end of 2016.
