'Hart of Dixie' Photo Preview: Old Alabama

0

The holiday hiatus is over Hart of Dixie fans and it’s time to head back to Bluebell and check in with our favorite small town residents. When we last left off, Zoe (Rachel Bilson) finally made things official with Wade (Wilson Bethel), George (Scott Porter) was making progress in his relationship with Tansy (guest star Mircea Monroe) and Lavon (Cress Williams) and Lemon (Jaime King) had a huge falling out over her part in the end of his relationship with Ruby (aka the Worst).

[SPOILERS AHEAD]

This Tuesday, the show returns with a new episode, “Old Alabama,” and introduces the audience to a new Bluebell tradition, Pioneer Day. Since Lavon is still upset about losing Ruby, he’s been letting his mayoral duties slide, which is not a good thing. A reporter for Southern Living Magazine is in town to cover Pioneer Day so Wade and Zoe step up to help Lavon out by playing Bluebell’s founding couple for the event. It’s also an opportunity for Zoe to try out new tactics when it comes to her relationship with Wade.

Elsewhere in town, Lemon and Annabeth (guest star Kaitlyn Black) come up with a plan to convince Lavon to let them cater the Pioneer Day First Feast to try and get publicity for their catering company and George (Scott Porter) gives Brick (Tim Matheson) advice on how to handle his new relationship with Shelby (guest star Laura Bell Bundy). The episode was directed by David Paymer and written by Veronica Becker and Sarah Kucserka.

Hart of Dixie returns Tuesday, Jan. 15 at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
