Debbi Morgan and Darnell Williams Sign On To 'All My Children' Reboot

1

It’s official! Actress Debbi Morgan has agreed to reprise her role as Dr. Angela “Angie” Hubbard on Prospect Park’s upcoming All My Children reboot, and she’s not alone!

Morgan wrote on Twitter: “Ok, I can finally announce how thrilled I am 2 B on board w/the “All My Children” re-boot & Prospect Park! Agnes Nixon, you’re my HERO!!!”

And as if that wasn’t enough, Morgan went on to tweet in a response congratulating her and asking if her romantic co-star Darnell Williams and best friend Michael E. Knight had signed on, “…It’s just terrific news, isn’t it?! Darnell is definitely on board, and I think Mike as well, but not quite sure yet…” – she then went on to multiple times confirm that Darnell is in fact signed on and that she couldn’t do the show without him!

Meanwhile in the January 14th edition of Soap Opera Digest, on sale now, the magazine elaborates on what they are hearing is Prospect Park’s revamped plan on the way in which the shows will be scheduled.  While TVSource previously reported that the shows will air four days a week, with a recap show airing on Fridays, for 48 weeks out of the year, SOD is reporting that the soaps would air in five to six week ‘arcs’, alternating between All My Children and One Life to Live. This would allow the shows to be a lot more tightly constructed, and faster paced. SOD is also hearing that the shows would not only tape in the same studio, but would also be using the same sets!
