'Castle' Preview: "Secret's Safe with Me"

0

Last week on “Castle,” Beckett (Stana Katic) returned to work and did everything she could to hide her new relationship status with Castle (Nathan Fillion) while they worked on solving the case of a murdered weathergirl. But things got out of hand when Castle pretended to date an entertainment reporter, who was overly aggressive in her pursuit of him. Meanwhile, Ryan (Seamus Dever) and Esposito (Jon Huertas) finally ended their tense stalemate after getting into a fight with a basketball player’s overzealous bodyguards.

[SPOILERS AHEAD]

This week, “Castle” is back with a new episode, “Secret’s Safe with Me,” that finds Castle and Beckett investigating the murder of a young woman whose death may be linked to a repossessed storage unit up for auction. Was something inside the unit worth killing for? The investigation leads Castle and Beckett on a “Storage Wars” type hunt, filled with treasure seekers and Manhattan socialites as they uncover the shocking truth.

Meanwhile, Martha (Susan Sullivan) and Alexis (Molly Quinn) are back from their European vacation and Alexis is getting ready to move to her college dorm. Martha suggests that Castle have the sex talk with his daughter, as in the Castle and Beckett sex talk. Castle tries to deny it, but Martha says she knew the day she walked in that Beckett was hiding in the closet because mothers know these things.

Also, it looks like Castle may have finally found the way to Captain Gates’ (Penny Johnson Jerald) heart and it comes in the form of…a creepy looking doll. Check it out in the preview below.

“Castle’s” next episode, “Secret’s Safe with Me” airs Monday, Oct. 8 at 10:00 p.m. on ABC
