FX has canceled English Teacher after two seasons. The series follows a high school teacher in Austin, Texas who often finds himself at the intersection of the personal, professional and political aspects of working at a high school. Evan wants to be a principled person but often runs into trouble because of it. 

Netflix has ordered adult animated workplace sitcom Living the Dream. The series from George Gendi and Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe stars George Gendi, Javone Prince, Julia Davis, Tom Stourton, Ellie White, Ambika Mod, Chris Diamontopoulos, Stavros Halkias, and more.

Glen Powell will host Saturday Night Live November 15. Olivia Dean will serve as musical guest on the late night NBC series. 

Season two of late night comedy series It’s Florida, Man. premieres November 28 on HBO. The outrageous late-night comedy series brings to life unbelievable ripped-from-the-headlines tales of the Sunshine State – straight from the people who live there. Featuring candid accounts from everyday Floridians playfully recreated by a rotating cast of actors and comedians, this hilarious and irreverent series sheds light on the viral, wacky, and weird. With equal parts humor and heart, the series is a love letter to the beaches, backwaters, and basements of a misunderstood yet magical state. The second season will include guest stars such as Adam DeVine, Edi Patterson, Tiffany Haddish, Haley Joel Osment, Bert Kreischer, Nick Swardson, Johnny Knoxville, Shea Whigham, Taika Waititi, Rita Ora, Holmes, David Koechner, Joel Kim Booster, Chet Hanks, Milan Carter, Nick Thune, Swoozie Kurtz, Johnny Pemberton, Ryan Mirvis, Brian Sacca, Ping Wu, Olivia Taylor Dudley, Frankie Quiñones, Hassie Harrison, Joseph Ruud, and Michael McDonald. 

Little Disasters premieres December 11 on Paramount+. The six-part psychological thriller is adapted from the bestselling novel by Sarah Vaughan. It focuses on a decade-long friendship among Jess, Liz, Charlotte and Mel, four expectant mothers who were thrown together with little in common apart from their due dates but have been there for one another throughout motherhood. When perfect stay-at-home mother Jess takes her baby daughter to hospital with a head injury that she can’t explain, her close friend and on-duty ER doctor Liz must make the excruciating decision of whether to call social services. With one phone call, Liz sets in motion a chain of events that ripples, fractures and nearly destroys not only their families but their entire friendship group.

Jaina Lee Ortiz has joined the cast of ABC’s upcoming drama series RJ Decker. She joins Scott Speedman in the midseason series. The series centers on the eponymous RJ Decker, a disgraced newspaper photographer and ex-con who starts over as a private investigator in the colorful-if-crime-filled world of South Florida, tackling cases that range from slightly odd to outright bizarre with the help of his journalist ex, her police detective wife, and a shadowy new benefactor, a woman from his past who could be his greatest ally… or his one-way ticket back to prison. The series also stars Kevin Rankin, Adelaide Clemens and Bevin Bru. 

Michelle Monaghan will star in a new hockey eight-episode Netflix series from creator Nick Naveda and showrunner and executive producer Bridget Bedard. For the town of South Dorothy, Minnesota, hockey is everything – until a tragic loss knocks the legs out from under the high school’s legendary team. Monaghan plays Harper Sullivan, an unlikely hockey coach who’s tasked with resurrecting the team from the brink of defeat, and bringing South Dorothy back to life.

Animated Nickelodeon series Dora and Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have been canceled. Dora has two seasons yet to air while season two of Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will premiere later this year. 

Roku has ordered NFL Hometown Eats. The series will follow a die-hard celebrity fan and an NFL star as they take to the streets of their team’s city, reliving game-day glory, diving into local traditions, and devouring its most legendary eats. There will be big flavors, epic stories, and hardcore team pride – served fresh every episode. The three-part series will kick off with executive producer Eva Longoria alongside an NFL player from her favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys.

Derek Hough will host The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular December 1 on ABC. Narrated by Ginnifer Goodwin, who carries on the tradition of sharing how the Disney Parks sparkle to life for the holidays, the special returns for its 10th year, featuring dazzling new musical performances from Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, Disneyland Resort in California and Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawaiʻi. It will figure performances by Gwen Stefani, Nicole Scherzinger, Trisha Yearwood, Derek Hough, Aloe Blacc, Good Charlotte, Coco Jones, Mariah the Scientist, Bebe Rexha and Iam Tongi. It will also feature a special look at the new movie ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ with the film’s cast from Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and a celebration of the new disney movie, ‘Zootopia 2,’ introduced by the film’s star Ke Huy Quan from Disneyland Resort. It will also include a closer look at the new 4D show Zootopia: Better Zoogether!, from Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park with actor Nate Torrence. 

Docuseries The Cult of the Real Housewife will premiere on TLC January 1. The series investigates The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Mary Cosby and the church she shares with her husband, Robert Cosby Sr., Faith Temple Pentecostal Church. With claims of spiritual and financial and misconduct circling Cosby and the church, the series unpacks the allegations behind the headlines and reveals the darker and more unsettling truth. It traces the dramatic rise of Faith Temple from its founding by the beloved Rosemary ‘Mama’ Cosby, grandmother of Mary Crosby, to her passing, the controversial transfer of leadership, and her husband’s marriage to Mary. This hotly contested bequeathment pushed Faith Temple into a controversial, new era. In addition to exploring the church and the allegations against it, the docuseries will elevate the voices of ex-congregants speaking out for the first time, including long-standing pillars of Faith Temple, the Enoch family, and provide deeply personal and disturbing accounts from family members such as Mary’s sister, Denise Jefferson Odinaka, and Mary’s cousin, Dan Cosby, along with his wife, Kim. The docuseries also features investigative journalists and bloggers who have been tracking this story from the beginning, as well as a leading cult expert who can offer insight around a playbook designed to enforce loyalty in mind-control cults. Featuring access to recordings of controversial sermons delivered by Mary and Robert Cosby Sr., as well as extensive archival from the early days of Faith Temple, the series pulls back the salacious headlines and social media takes to dive deeper and unpack one of the most enduring mysteries at the core of the scandal: how have Mary and Robert Cosby Sr. managed to avoid accountability for so long? 

Season two of The Accident will premiere on Netflix December 10. The story of pain, guilt, and redemption continues. A year after the accident that marked their lives forever, four families struggle between redemption and revenge as they navigate a maze of secrets and shifting alliances. This new season returns with the same cast that captivated millions of viewers around the world, as well as new characters. A story marked by vertigo, emotion, and the struggle for a second chance. Is it possible to move on after such a tragedy? 

Sicily Express premieres December 22 on Netflix. Work in Milan and sleep in Sicily? This Christmas, it will be possible.

VERSANT announced USA Sports will be the new brand and division name for the company’s robust sports portfolio across USA Network and Golf Channel. USA Sports encompasses all sports properties and programming on VERSANT platforms including NASCAR, PGA TOUR, Premier League, WWE, WNBA, USGA, R&A, LPGA Tour, PGA of America, Atlantic 10 Basketball, DP World Tour, Augusta National Golf Club, College Golf, and League One Volleyball (LOVB). In total, USA Sports will present more than 10,000 hours of event, studio, and original sports programming across USA Network, Golf Channel, and CNBC in 2026.

The third and final season of WondLa premieres November 26 on Apple TV. The series is based on the book series “The Search for WondLa” by Tony DiTerlizzi. In the epic final season, war erupts between humans and aliens. With Orbona’s fate hanging in the balance, Eva must embark on her most dangerous mission yet: recapturing the stolen Heart of the Forest.
