Peacock has canceled Poker Face after two seasons. The series will be shopped to other outlets. Hoping to attract interest, the series will see Natasha Lyonne exit as Charlie with Peter Dinklage taking over the role in a potential two season deal. The series would continue to recast Charlie ever two seasons.  

Event special Adult Swim’s The Elephant premieres December 19 on adult swim. Known for creating some of the most beloved and groundbreaking animated series in history, Patrick McHale (“Over the Garden Wall”), Ian Jones-Quartey (“OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes”), Rebecca Sugar (“Steven Universe”), and Pendleton Ward (“Adventure Time”) have reunited to push the boundaries of conventional storytelling – resulting in an animated adventure so mysterious, even they don’t know what it’s about. In the special, each of the three-acts are made in isolation. With Sugar and Jones-Quartey working as a duo and McHale and Ward overseeing their own separate parts, the special is guided by “game masters” and “Adventure Time” alums Jack Pendarvis and Kent Osborne for a storytelling experiment that unfolds as a collaborative surprise, ultimately merging into a single, unexpected narrative. Adult Swim will debut a behind-the-scenes documentary, “Behind the Elephant” alongside an encore airing of the special on December 20 and on HBO Max, offering a rare look into the creative process featuring interviews and footage from the production. The documentary highlights the unique challenges and discoveries that made the project a truly original experience – for both the audience and the creators themselves.

Season two of Fallout premieres December 17 on Prime Video. Based on one of the greatest video game series of all time, Fallout is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. Two-hundred years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind – and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird, and highly violent universe waiting for them.

Season two of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters premieres February 27 on Apple TV. The ten episode season stars Kurt Russell, Wyatt Russell, Anna Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, Ren Watabe, Mari Yamamoto, Joe Tippett and Anders Holm. Season two will pick up with the fate of Monarch – and the world – hanging in the balance. The dramatic saga reveals buried secrets that reunite our heroes (and villains) on Kong’s Skull Island, and a new, mysterious village where a mythical Titan rises from the sea. The ripple effects of the past make waves in the present day, blurring the bonds between family, friend and foe – all with the threat of a Titan event on the horizon.

Behind the scenes docuseries The End of an Era premieres December 12 on Disney+ with two episodes weekly. The series gives an intimate look at Taylor’s life as her tour made headlines and thrilled fans around the world. In addition, the series features Gracie Abrams, Sabrina Carpenter, Travis Kelce, Ed Sheeran, and Florence Welch, along with her band, dancers, crew, and family members – offering never-before-seen insight into what it took to create a phenomenon. 

The Celebrity Traitors will premiere on Peacock November 20 with all nine episodes. Filmed at Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands, the series is hosted by the brilliant and stylish Claudia Winkleman, who has opened the castle doors to an all-star cast who are ready to play the ultimate game of deceit and betrayal. The multi-award-winning hit psychological game format The Traitors, presents a nine-part celebrity version, originally on BBC One and iPlayer. The celebrities will play the ultimate game of detection, backstabbing and trust, in the hope of winning a cash prize up to £100,000 for a charity of their choice.

Major League Soccer (MLS) and Apple today announced that beginning in 2026, all MLS matches will be available to stream for Apple TV subscribers at no additional cost. Fans can watch every regular-season match, the annual Leagues Cup tournament, the MLS All-Star Game, the Campeones Cup, the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs, and more – all included with an Apple TV subscription.1 The standalone MLS Season Pass subscription on the Apple TV app will conclude at the end of the 2025 season. This next chapter of the Apple and MLS partnership builds on the momentum established over the past three seasons, and will continue to deliver MLS matches, studio shows, and VOD content in more than 100 countries and regions, offering fans a single destination to watch every MLS match – with no blackouts. The evolution further streamlines access to MLS for fans at a pivotal moment for soccer in North America, including as anticipation grows for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Next Level Baker premieres December 4 on Fox. Twelve bakers consisting of home, pro and social media backgrounds enter a next level winter wonderland and make nostalgic chocolate treats. Then, after an elimination round, the remaining contestants make boozy holiday party bakes and continue battling for the title of first-ever Next Level Baker. Judges include Gordon Ramsay, Carla Hall, and Candace Nelson. 

FX’s Shōgun announced the new and returning cast joining the series for the second season. Newly added to the cast include Asami Kizukawa, Masataka Kubota, Sho Kaneta, Takaaki Enoki and Jun Kunimura. Hiroyuki Sanada and Cosmo Jarvis lead the stellar cast of returning stars, including Fumi Nikaidô, Shinnosuke Abe, Hiroto Kanai, Yoriko Dôguchi, Tommy Bastow, Yuko Miyamoto, Eita Okuno and Yuka Kouri. Part two of Shōgun is set ten years after the events of the first season and continues the historically-inspired saga of these two men from different worlds whose fates are inextricably entwined.

Design expert, television host and Emmy Award winner Bobby Berk will help collectors turn chaos into dream spaces that honor their prized possessions in the new HGTV series Junk or Jackpot?, premiering Friday, Dec. 26, at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT. Executive produced by actor, wrestler and entrepreneur John Cena, the six-episode season will follow Bobby as he meets passionate people who are in desperate need of a life-changing renovation and will soon discover the hidden monetary value of their massive and unusual collections. With humor and compassion, Bobby will hear the emotional stories behind the stockpiles, bring in experts to appraise the items – from a staggering stash of superhero figurines to cramped rooms stuffed with vinyl records and miniature sets that leave nowhere for actual, life-size furniture – and then counsel his clients on what they’ll sell to fund the much-needed makeovers. 

From Broadway to streaming, Prime Video announced that Hazbin Hotel: Live on Broadway, the concert event celebrating the Season Two premiere of the hit adult animated musical series, will be coming to Prime Video on November 17. Hosted by series lead Erika Henningsen, at New York’s historic Majestic Theater, the concert event features performances of the show’s hit songs from Seasons One and Two by Erika Henningsen, Blake Roman, Amir Talai, Christian Borle, Jessica Vosk, Jeremy Jordan, and Krystina Alabado, with special appearances by Stephanie Beatriz, Kimiko Glenn, Vivienne Medrano, Sam Haft, and Richard Horvitz. The entire second season of Hazbin Hotel, from A24 and FOX Entertainment Studios’ Emmy award-winning Bento Box Entertainment, will be available on November 19. 

Mad Men will begin streaming on HBO Max December 1. This marks the first time the series is available to stream in 4K, giving audiences and longtime fans the opportunity to enjoy the series’ authentically-crafted elements with crisp detail and enhanced visual clarity. The series explores the glamorous and ego-driven “Golden Age” of advertising, where everyone is selling something and nothing is ever what it seems. And no one plays the game better than Don Draper, Madison Avenue’s biggest ad man – and ladies’ man – in the business. 

Melissa Peterman will host the hour long special Countdown to Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade November 26 on NBC. On the eve of the iconic Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, viewers will enjoy an all-access look at the Macy’s Parade Studio to discover exactly what it takes to create the famous floats and balloons prior to their journey through the streets of New York. The special will also feature an inside look at Macy’s “Balloonfest,” where viewers will meet devoted volunteer balloon handlers who have been spending Thanksgiving walking in the Parade for decades. The special will spotlight the Radio City Rockettes’ 100th anniversary, an awe-inspiring LEGO float, a determined California marching band making their Parade debut and a behind-the-scenes look at an exciting performance from EJAE, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami, the singing voices of HUNTR/X from Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters

Sarah Jessica Parker has been named the 2026 Carol Burnett Award honoree, recognizing her outstanding contributions to the television industry both in front of and behind the camera. As previously announced, Dame Helen Mirren will receive the 2026 Cecil B. DeMille Award, which will be presented on the new annual primetime special GOLDEN EVE, honoring recipients of both the prestigious Cecil B. DeMille Award and Carol Burnett Award, airing on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2026 at 8:00 PM, ET/PT on the CBS Television Network and streaming on Paramount+.

Kelsea Ballerini, Brandi Carlile, Kenny Chesney, Riley Green, Miranda Lambert, Patty Loveless, Old Dominion, The Red Clay Strays, and Chris Stapleton will join the growing list of performers for this year’s star-studded CMA Awards. Hosted by Lainey Wilson, the ceremony airs live from Nashville Wednesday, Nov. 19, on ABC. 

Prime Sports announced a 12-episode order for Good Sports, an all-new, weekly sports talk show hosted by comedy titans Kevin Hart and Kenan Thompson. Premiering November 25 exclusively on Prime Video, new episodes of Good Sports will stream every Tuesday. The series celebrates a reunion of sports superfans and comedy superstars Kevin Hart and Kenan Thompson for an all-new sports comedy talk show that will give fans a front-row seat to the ultimate crossover and transform the traditional world of sports commentary into must-watch TV. Powered by their signature unfiltered opinions and electrifying energy, Kevin and Kenan will offer hilarious takes on everything from the NFL and NBA to neighborhood pickup games and little league drama… because whether it’s played in stadiums or backyards, all sports are Good Sports.

It’s a Sunday Night Football presentation like you’ve never seen before. Peacock, NBC Sports, and the National Football League are teaming up to present Reality Hot Seat a first-of-its-kind altcast spotlighting the storylines, rivalries and larger-than-life personalities that make professional football as captivating as a hit reality TV show. Streaming exclusively on Peacock and NFL+ beginning at 8 p.m ET and continuing throughout the entire Houston Texans-Kansas City Chiefs matchup on Sunday, Dec. 7, Reality Hot Seat complements NBC Sports’ traditional broadcast airing on NBC, Peacock and NFL+. Leading the charge is an all-star panel ready to call the game like it’s their favorite reunion special: “Boston Rob” Mariano (Survivor, The Traitors), Heather Gay (The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Surviving Mormonism with Heather Gay), TV and podcast host Justin Sylvester and Kate Chastain (Below Deck, The Traitors). NBC Sports Network (NBCSN), a 24/7 linear network featuring a wide range of marquee sporting events and programming from NBC Sports, will officially launch next Monday, November 17. NBCSN will be available exclusively through participating pay-tv distributors, launching first for all YouTube TV subscribers and soon on Xfinity, with other distributors to be announced at a later date. NBCSN will feature live games across major sports, giving pay-TV customers a way to enjoy much of NBCUniversal’s extensive sports portfolio that also streams on Peacock. 

Golf Channel announced its 2026 morning programming schedule, featuring a mix of new shows and returning fan-favorites which explore and analyze the golf world from all angles and perspectives. New morning programming on Golf Channel is highlighted by on-course reporter Smylie Kaufman bringing his popular show and podcast, The Smylie Show, to Golf Channel on Wednesdays at 9 a.m. ET. Full Swing executive producer and Pro Shop President Chad Mumm, alongside Bachelor Nation favorite Wells Adams, explore the intersection of golf and entertainment with Vanity Index Podcast on Wednesday at 10 a.m. ET. Additionally, 16-time Emmy Award winner Jimmy Roberts’ new program, The Big Swing with Jimmy Roberts, which takes viewers inside the new golf economy, debuts Tuesdays at 7 a.m. ET. Golf Channel’s morning slate will be anchored by the return of 5 Clubs with Gary Williams Monday-Wednesday at 8 a.m. ET, as well as the Golf Channel Podcast with Rex and Lav on Mondays at 9 a.m. ET. 

USA Sports and the Pac-12 Conference today announced a five-year partnership beginning in 2026-27, featuring regular season action for football, men’s basketball and women’s basketball, plus the league’s men’s basketball tournament live on USA Network. As part of the long-term partnership which runs through the 2030-31 season, USA Network will annually present more than 80 games for the new Pac-12. 

Wildlife series Born to be Wild, narrated by Hugh Bonneville, will premiere December 19 on Apple TV. Filmed over several years across three continents, the six-part documentary series follows six endangered young animals as they grow up in our world but are destined to return to theirs. From their earliest days through their journey to life in the wild, the series highlights the challenges, triumphs, and resilience that define their survival, both for the animals and the extraordinary people working to raise and protect them.

Made in Korea premieres December 24 on hulu. Set in 1970s South Korea, Made in Korea follows two men on opposite sides of power – one driven by ambition, the other by justice. As their worlds collide, greed, loyalty, and survival intertwine in a battle that will shape a nation.
