The results of the TV Source Magazine Soap Opera Pulse Poll are in! Your votes determined the top soap stars and couples for the week of September 3, 2018. A big week of voting leads to a new stars and couples topping the charts for the first time!
The Rundown
- 24,209 total votes were cast during the voting period.
- Days of our Lives’ Chandler Massey and General Hospital’s Kelly Monaco were voted favorite actor and actress. This is Massey’s first time at #1 since the return of the Pulse Poll this summer. Previously, the three-time Emmy winning actor was a regular atop the charts from 2010-2014. He held a commanding lead over the #2 actor, GH’s Billy Miller, by nearly 1,300 votes.
- Monaco returns to #1 for the second time.
- DAYS’ Will & Sonny are voted #1 couple for the first time.
- The fight for top actress remains closely contested, with less than 150 votes separating the top 3.
- Y&R’s Michael Mealor and Camryn Grimes and the Mariah/Tessa pairing is Y&R’s top result for another week.
