Legendary soap star Eileen Davidson, star of NBC’s Days of our Lives and CBS’ The Young and the Restless, sits down with Mark and Cristina on Thursday’s Home & Family!

The 3-time Emmy nominee, currently up for Outstanding Lead Actress, talks about her role as Kristen DiMera on DAYS as well as Ashley Abbott on Y&R. Eileen Davidson discusses how she felt when she was called into the Y&R production office in 2012 and fired from the show, only to be offered a job at DAYS, albeit for less money. It’s an insightful, candid interview touching upon her feelings about the situation, how she took control of her emotions and made the best out of her environment.

Also during her sit down with the hosts, Davidson reveals she wrapped her latest DAYS stint two weeks ago. Her storyline as Kristen begins airing at the end of July and will run for three months.

Though the actress confirmed she signed a two year contract with The Young and the Restless, she noted that she is able to make appearances on Days of our Lives. So it looks like Davidson’s double duty could continue when her schedule permits! She returns to Y&R in September.

Check out the interview with Eileen Davidson below. How will Mark and Cristina fare during the DAYS quiz?
