Congratulations to LANY Entertainment’s The Bay the Series for winning a Daytime Emmy for the highly competitive category Outstanding New Approaches Drama Series. Recognized by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, The Bay took home the gold after competing with other notable award-winning internet dramas.
Accompanied by cast members and his producing team, executive producer Gregori J. Martin accepted the coveted award at the Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremony held Friday, April 24th at The Hilton Los Angeles in Universal City.
“For as long as I can remember,” Martin emotionally stated, “it’s been my dream to win an Emmy. Tonight that dream came true. It is a great honor to be recognized by the Academy and our peers.”

“I’m excited to say we start shooting in four weeks,” Martin offered. “We’ll be campaigning this summer before releasing new episodes in the fall.” Until then, recent episodes of The Bay the Series can be viewed at www.thebaytheseries.com
This is the second nomination and first win for the award-winning independent series. The Bay received its first Emmy nomination in 2012, and with the show going back into production, LANY Entertainment hopes to once again submit and participate in next year’s Daytime Emmys.
