Dates released for General Hospital & All My Children’s 2011 Fan Club Weekend.
Soap fans wait all year long to attend the extravaganza that is fan club weekend. Normally held during the summer in California, fan club weekend is a time for soap fans to gather and meet with each other in addition to meeting their favorite daytime stars from All My Children and General Hospital. Fan Club President, Debbie Morris has released the dates for next summer’s festivities, so mark your calendars! General Hospital Fan Club Weekend events begin on Thursday, July 21, 2011 with the annual Kick Off Party. The huge cast event luncheon will be held Saturday, July 23rd.
All My Children Fan Club Weekend will kick off on Friday, July 29 with it’s 2nd annual Kick Off Party. Put on your dancing shoes and pick out that special dress because you will be going back in time for the Pine Valley Prom Night! Prizes will be handed out that night, so wear something special! The AMC cast event will be held on Saturday, July 30.
Next year’s festivities will be held at the Sportsmen’s Lodge in Studio City, California. Fans who are making a return for fan club weekend may remember the Sportsmen’s Lodge from years past. After a major renovation, the Lodge is once again able to accommodate the events for fan club weekend at their Event Center on Ventura Blvd.
Those who are interested in attending next year will be able to reserve hotel rooms beginning on December 1st at 9am PST. Fan Club Weekend room rates are as follows: $135 Single/Double; $145 Triple; $155 Quad. These special rates will not be available until December 1st. Event tickets will be available for purchase after November 15, 2010. Prices for the above events are as follows:
Annual GH Fan Club Kick Off Cocktail Event on Thursday, July 21, 2011 from 7:30 pm – 10:30 pm. Cost: $90 per person.
The General Hospital Cast Event will be held on Saturday July 23, 2011 from 8:30 am-4:00pm or until the last actor leaves. Tickets are $120.00 for fan club members & $130.00 for non-members.
Pine Valley High School Prom Kick Off Event will be held on Friday, July 29, 2011. Cost: $90 per person.
All My Children Cast Event will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2011 from 9:00am – 4:00 pm or until the last actor leaves. Tickets are $120.00 for fan club members & $130.00 for non-members.
